8171 Ehsaas Program 2026: Benazir Taleemi Wazaif New Payments & CNIC Check Online
The Government of Pakistan has officially released the new quarterly installments for the Benazir Kafaalat Program (Rs. 14,500) and Benazir Taleemi Wazaif (Student Stipends) for May 2026. This financial aid is designed to support low-income families and ensure that every child in Pakistan has access to education.
In this guide, we will show you how to check your payment status online using your CNIC and how to register your children for educational stipends to receive extra monthly support.
1. New Payment Updates (May 2026)
According to the latest BISP notification, the payment amounts have been revised to help families cope with inflation:
Benazir Kafaalat: Rs. 14,500 (Quarterly)
Benazir Taleemi Wazaif: Rs. 1,500 to Rs. 4,500 (Depending on the child's class and gender).
Nashonuma Program: Extra support for mothers and infants.
2. Benazir Taleemi Wazaif (Stipends for Students)
If you are an active BISP beneficiary, your school-going children are eligible for extra cash.
Primary School: Rs. 1,500 (Boys) / Rs. 2,000 (Girls)
Secondary School: Rs. 2,500 (Boys) / Rs. 3,000 (Girls)
Higher Secondary (College): Rs. 3,500 (Boys) / Rs. 4,000 (Girls)
Requirement: The student must maintain at least 70% attendance in school/college to continue receiving these payments.
3. How to Check 8171 Payment Status Online?
You don't need to visit the BISP office to check your balance. Follow these simple steps:
Visit the official portal: 8171.bisp.gov.pk.
Enter your 13-digit CNIC number (without dashes).
Enter the Captcha Code shown in the image.
Click Submit to see your eligibility and balance details.
SMS Method: If you don't have internet, simply send your CNIC number to 8171 via SMS to receive your status.
4. Required Documents for Registration
If you haven't registered your children yet, visit the nearest BISP Tehsil Office with:
Mother’s Original CNIC.
Children's NADRA B-Form.
School Admission Slip (certified by the Headmaster).
